1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Lismil, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Lismil is a personal memory book where AI transforms your voice recordings, photos, and text into stories. The service includes a live book preview, voice narration, and optional printed books. We use third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Whisper, ElevenLabs) to process your content.
3. User Accounts
You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use this service. If you create a book about a child, you must be their parent or legal guardian.
4. Your Content
You retain full ownership of all content you upload (photos, voice recordings, text). By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our AI pipeline solely to provide the service. We do not use your content for advertising or sell it to third parties. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any content you submit.
5. AI-Generated Content
Stories generated by AI are based on your input but may not be perfectly accurate. AI-generated text is provided as a creative interpretation of your memories. You can edit or replace AI-generated content at any time. We are not responsible for inaccuracies in AI-generated text.
6. Subscriptions & Payments
Free accounts have usage limits (3 entries per day). Premium and Family plans are billed through Stripe. You can cancel your subscription at any time through the settings page. After cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period. Your content remains accessible even after downgrading to a free plan.
7. Account Termination
You may delete your account at any time from the settings page. Upon deletion, all your data (entries, photos, voice profiles, personal information) will be permanently removed from our systems and third-party services. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms, including uploading inappropriate content.
8. Limitation of Liability
Lismil is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or AI-generated content. We recommend keeping personal backups of important photos and recordings. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
